Bill earned his Bachelors degree in Education from Hardin-Simmons University, Abilene, Texas, and a Masters Degree in Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Fort Worth, Texas. He has been in professional ministry for over 35-years, serving as a senior pastor to three churches in California and Oklahoma, as well as serving in executive and/or management pastor positions in large churches both in Colorado and Florida.
Bill currently serves as President of Missionary Ventures, headquartered in Orlando, Florida. MVI has approximately 100 missionaries in 43 countries, with seven international offices. Short-term mission teams through local churches and Christian organizations are regularly recruited, trained, and sent to serve with seasoned missionaries resulting in life-changing experiences for everyone.
Bill delights in bringing his management and leadership skills to Missionary Ventures International. “Serving modern day heroes (missionaries) throughout the world is quite an honor,” says Snell, and“opportunities abound to boldly go where few, if any, have gone before.”
Business experience has also been part of Bill’s profession, including mortgage banking, small business ownership, consulting, and real estate.
Married to Tammy for 37 years, Bill is the father of four adult children, and grandfather to three grandsons.
Bill frequently teaches practical, grace-based theology at Grace Church of Greater Orlando, where he served as Executive Pastor for six years and now serves as an elder.
